- As GEKAS SİGORTA ARACILIK HİZMETLERİ A.Ş. ("Company") established in Turkey; in the capacity of data controller, your personal data we obtain in the following ways, as the case may be,
- In the context of our legal relations,
- Within the framework of the purpose requiring their processing and in connection with, limited and measured manner,
- Maintaining the accuracy and most up-to-date version of the personal data you have provided to us or as provided to us,
- We hereby declare that it will be recorded, stored, preserved, reorganized, shared with the institutions authorized by law to request such personal data and transferred to third parties in the country, transferred, classified and processed in other ways listed in the KVKK under the conditions stipulated by the KVKK.

HOW AND FOR WHAT REASONS DO WE REQUEST YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
As the Company, we collect your personal data that we request from you for the fulfillment of our legal obligations, the performance of the service contract between us, for reasons stipulated by law and for the legitimate interest of the Company, through your verbal, physical or electronic transmission to us.
For the performance of the service contract between us, we may collect your personal data from insurance companies electronically or verbally and physically.
Due to the legitimate interest of the Company, we collect your voice recordings through the voice recording program we use.
PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be processed by the Company for purposes and reasons such as but not limited to the following purposes and legal reasons.
In order to carry out the agency and/or insurance service relationship we will establish with you, in particular;
- Obtaining special prices from insurance companies for each policy and situation and preparing offers
- Creating your policies and submitting the necessary documents to the insurance companies
- Providing information and support regarding your policies, updating your existing data
- Forwarding your policies to you
- Renewal of expired policies
- Making addendum transactions
- Determination of the damage status of the insured with insurance
- Notifying end consumers who owe policy premiums of open terms via SMS or e-mail
- Ensuring that you receive support services by bringing you together with companies that provide assistance to insurance companies
- Follow-up of risk documents
- Realization of collection transactions
- Fulfillment of reimbursement requests
- Making campaign and discount payments
In order to better fulfill the service we provide to you, to fulfill marketing and research activities in order to improve ourselves;

- Providing bulk e-mail, push notification and SMS services to promote our other products to you, with your consent

For the purposes of the administration of the Company, the conduct of business, the implementation of Company policies, in particular;

- Conducting market research in order to provide you with the best price
It may be processed in order to exercise our right of defense or to fulfill our legal obligation if requested by us within the scope of a proper legal process.
Your personal data will be kept for the maximum period specified in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed, and in any case for the statutory statute of limitations.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES IN THE COUNTRY
Your personal data is primarily transferred to insurance companies and other agencies with which we share business in order to provide you with services as a requirement of the business. However, from time to time, your personal data may be transferred to companies specialized in that field or to the servers of the applications we use so that we can perform certain activities. For example;
- We can transfer your data to cargo companies in order to deliver your policies to you.
- If you are included in our SMS sending list, only your data necessary for the realization of the activity in question can be transferred to companies that send bulk SMS or bulk e-mail if you are included in our bulk e-mail list.
- In case we need technical support, it may be necessary for the consultancy companies and the switchboard company from which we receive support to access our systems from time to time, and thus your data in the relevant systems may be accessible to the companies in question. However, we take the necessary measures to prevent these companies from using your personal data.
- From time to time, if you agree, your data may be transferred to the companies we cooperate with for campaign purposes.
- Your data is also transferred to banks for collection purposes.
- Upon your request, as much of your data as necessary is transferred to insurance companies and companies providing assistance.
- Your data can be transferred to gift companies so that we can send you a celebratory gift.
- It may be shared with insurance companies, insurance agencies and other brokerage firms in order to provide our services.
- In order to exercise our right of defense, we may share it with our lawyers and relevant institutions within the framework of our obligation to fulfill legal requests such as court orders or evidence requests, provided that they are in accordance with the law and procedure.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES ABROAD
In some cases, we may transfer your personal data to the following recipient groups abroad for the specified purposes.
- We may be working with a third party company located abroad to send you bulk e-mails to keep you informed about developments, promotions and innovations. We may only share your personal data necessary for this purpose with these companies.
- In order to determine whether you are satisfied with our services and to discover how we can make you and our other customers more satisfied, we may transfer your personal data to the servers located abroad of companies that conduct customer satisfaction analysis.
- We are able to transfer the information, documents, files, etc. that we produce, obtain and acquire within the framework of our activities to the servers located abroad of the applications and databases that provide the service of storing records.
YOUR RIGHTS
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you may contact us in person, provided that you prove your identity, regarding your personal data;
- To learn whether the Company has processed personal data about you, and if so, to request information about it,
- To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- To learn whether personal data is transferred domestically or abroad and to whom it is transferred
you have the right.
You also have the right to request the Company to correct inaccurate and incomplete personal data and to inform the recipients whose data has been or may have been transferred.
You may request the destruction (deletion, destruction or anonymization) of your personal data from the Company within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK. At the same time, you may request that the third parties to whom the data is or may be transferred be informed about your request for destruction. However, by evaluating your request for destruction, we will evaluate which method is appropriate according to the circumstances of the concrete case. In this context, you can always request information from us about why we have chosen the destruction method we have chosen.
You may object to the results of your personal data analysis, exclusively generated using an automated system, if these results are contrary to your interests.
If you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data, you may request compensation for the damage.
Your requests in your application will be finalized free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost for the Company, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller may be charged.
Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 13 of the KVK Law; applications to be made to our Company, which is the data controller, regarding these rights must be submitted to us in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board ("Board").
Within this framework, applications to be made to our Company in writing shall be made by printing out the form;
- By personal application of the Applicant,
- Through a notary public or
- It can be sent to us via e-mail sent by the Applicant from the e-mail address previously notified to our Company and registered in our Company's system.

In matters related to the processing of your personal data, you must submit your application to our Company by filling out the application form on the Company's website, in writing or by using your e-mail address that you have previously notified us and is included in our records. Depending on the nature of your request and your application method, the Company may request additional verifications (such as sending a message to your registered phone, calling you) in order to determine whether the application belongs to you and thus protect your rights. For example, if you apply through your e-mail address registered with the Company, we may contact you using another communication method registered with the Company and request confirmation of whether the application belongs to you.
